nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc)
1 Purpose
nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc) is a diagnostic checking function suitable for use after fitting a vector ARMA model to a multivariate time series using
nag_tsa_varma_estimate (g13ddc).
The residual cross-correlation matrices are returned along with an estimate of their asymptotic standard errors and correlations. Also, nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc) calculates the modified Li–McLeod portmanteau statistic and its significance level for testing model adequacy.

7 Accuracy
The computations are believed to be stable.
8 Parallelism and Performance
nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc) is threaded by NAG for parallel execution in multithreaded implementations of the NAG Library.
nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc) makes calls to BLAS and/or LAPACK routines, which may be threaded within the vendor library used by this implementation. Consult the documentation for the vendor library for further information.

The time taken by nag_tsa_varma_diagnostic (g13dsc) depends upon the number of residual cross-correlation matrices to be computed, , and the number of time series, .
